Adopt A Talmud is a program of Keren Olam Hachinuch. Use of this site constitutes agreement to participate honestly and in good faith with the application, review, and giving processes described throughout the site.

Listing an application for sponsorship

To raise the tuition assistance a family has applied for, Keren Olam Hachinuch may list that application publicly on this site so that donors can sponsor it.

A listing never carries your child’s name. Each one is identified only by a code name generated by us, together with the general town and the amount being raised. We do not publish names, photographs, dates of birth, school year, addresses, or any other detail that identifies a child. Donors who sponsor a listing see the same limited information.

Where a family chooses to write a short description of their situation, it is published only after the family submits it and we review it, and it may be withdrawn at any time.

If you would prefer that your child’s application is not listed at all, contact us and we will mark it accordingly. That instruction stays on the record and applies in later years as well, so you do not need to repeat it each time you apply.
